Where Do I Start, Where Do I Begin?
For those not in the know, this is a pic of me, my friend Bobby M, and the ultra sexy broads from Avenue D (Debbie & Daphne) up at Respectables from a few weeks ago. It was definitely one of the coolest shows that I had seen in a while despite the fact that I was ridiculously sick and I probably should have stayed home in bed. We were right up front and the crotches were indeed flying as they belted out such classics as Stick It In, 2F2F, Orgasmatron, and they closed the set in style with my personal fav, The Punk Rock Song. It was fucking awesome despite being sick and in need of serious meds. Thanks again to Bobby for the slick smuggling of vodka into the venue and saving us a few dollars on our bar tabs. After the show (and while dancing to Air War by Crystal Castles) I ended up running into an old familiar face while up there and damn, it was nice to see her. Little does she know that's she's been such a huge musical influence to not only myself, but also to the one and only DJ Das Cook. Good times indeed. Word up.
So a few days later, I found myself in the ER with some nasty walking-pneumonia bullshit (surprise surprise) and that needless to say took a lot out of me. To top that off, my PC finally died on me and then if that wasn't bad enough, my phone got shut off and I felt like I was living in dark ages before cell phones and PC's were necessities and not luxuries. Damn this technology that we rely so heavily on! A few days ago, I copped a new phone (and new number), but I'm still computer-less for the next few weeks so I'm stuck using whatever PC I can find so needless to say, there won't be any uploads for a while. I know it sucks, but look; you'll get through this.
Other than that, things have been cool, insane, and most importantly; comfortable. Besides the obligatory snags here and there, things are definitely looking up here at Miscreant Headquarters. It's a whole new cast of characters (as well as a few surprise cameos) living through a series of wacky adventures and dammit; it's amazing! To quote Kevin Spacey from American Beauty: I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... Good times indeed.
Well, it's that time of the year again, so from MISCREANT PRODUCTIONS, have a safe and wonderful Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Festivus, and a Happy New Year!!!
